1. Snowflake Lane in Bellevue
This list would feel incomplete without including one of the biggest and most popular holiday attractions in the region: Snowflake Lane in Bellevue. This wintery extravaganza has been happening for nearly two decades now, and the city has perfected the stunning decorations and exciting entertainment that make this an annual “must-see” attraction for residents and visitors alike. Starting the day after Thanksgiving until December 29, you can catch the acclaimed holiday parade every night at 7:00 p.m. in the heart of downtown Bellevue. 2. 12Ks of Christmas
Feeling ambitious and looking to dash through the snow—or just dash in general? On December 15, you can participate in a 12K, 5K, or cheer on your kiddos as they run the Kid’s Dash in Kirkland. Your new year’s resolutions don’t have to wait until 2025. If you’re looking to reach a marathon goal and want to start smaller with a 5K, this is a great opportunity! You don’t have to travel all the way to Europe for a cozy Christmas market—we have one right here in Seattle! Hosted at the Seattle Center, this is your one-stop-shop for supporting local businesses and artisans, buying unique presents for loved ones, trying holiday-themed fare, and enjoying live entertainment. If you’re looking for a place to fully immerse you in the hustle and bustle of December, make it a point to stop by the market open November 21 through December 24.
